Choosing
We quote Clark when the job is plain counterbalance work and the budget is tight. Clark IC trucks run from 3,000 lb to 18,000 lb, in cushion and pneumatic tire. The electric range runs up to 10,000 lb. Most plant and warehouse needs are met somewhere in this grid.
Use tire type as your first filter. Cushion tires belong on finished concrete and nowhere else. If any real part of the work happens on gravel, broken asphalt or a yard, choose pneumatic. That holds even if most of the shift is indoors. Many older plants around Akron, Canton and Barberton have both inside one fence line.
Clark renamed most of its electric line. The models here use the current names, not the retired GTX and ECX names that still show up in older listings. If you are matching a truck you already run, use the series name on each card.
Questions
Yes. We can quote every Clark model on this page new in Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina and Wayne counties. In Cleveland and the rest of Cuyahoga County, we sell used forklifts and offer rentals and service, but not new Clark trucks. Call for lead times on a specific series.
Choose pneumatic tires if any part of the job happens outdoors on an unfinished surface. Pneumatic tires have the clearance and tread for gravel and broken asphalt. They still work well indoors on a decent slab. A cushion-tire truck struggles as soon as it leaves finished concrete.
Clark renamed its electric range. The GTX and ECX models are discontinued, and newer SE, SEC and SES families took their place. The names on this page are the current ones, so they will match a new quote, not an old listing.
