That is where I-76, I-77 and SR-8 meet. From there, the freeways fan out to every side of town. Akron is still called the Rubber City. The tire plants built much of the city, and many of those old buildings now hold new tenants. Today the work is polymers, plastics, chemicals and metal parts, plus the warehouses that move those goods.

We can walk the building before we quote, checking door openings, overhead pipes and ramp grades. Then we match the mast, tire and truck width to what the building allows, not to a spec sheet.

From the Rubber City's old plant districts to the new space along I-76 and US-224, fleets follow the building stock. One side is rubber-era plants from the early and mid-1900s, often multi-level, with low doors and uneven floors. The other side is single-story industrial park buildings with dock doors and open, level floors. Which one you occupy decides mast height, tire type and battery chemistry.
